INSA Rouen University offers a wide range of engineering programs closely aligned with the needs of industry. Its academic partnerships with universities and engineering schools in Normandy have enabled it to develop innovative programs of excellence. It cultivates cutting-edge expertise at various levels across numerous fields (energy, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, mathematics). INSA’s missions are multifaceted: training engineers and PhD candidates, actively participating in scientific and technological research, developing continuing education for engineers and technicians, and contributing to the performance of the French economy by training innovative executives. In the entrance hall, students and visitors can view a 7-ton thrust turbojet engine primarily used in the MIRAGE F1 and MIRAGE 50 fighter jets.

This sensitive site, monitored 24/7, has been secured since 2019 by the CamTrace video surveillance system, which manages approximately 100 cameras. An update was performed in late 2025 to upgrade to the latest version, CamTrace SIRION 16: a CamTrace technician traveled to the site so that the operation could be carried out jointly with Esseltec — the installer responsible for the site maintenance.
